Gwen Lanigan-O'Keeffe

Gwen Lanigan O’Keeffe has an active imagination. At the age of eight, she produced an illustrated children’s book, The Mouse in Her House. Followed, at the age of eleven with a thriller, Barbie Goes to The Jungle. At fourteen, Thou shall Not Write with a Red Pen, won her critical acclaim for poetry, by her secondary school, English teacher. She went on to trying her hand at screen plays and short stories. With a busy career in customer service, none have gotten to the publishing stage, until now. Her debut novel, Bryn Jahr: Leap of Fate, showcases what true daydreamers can potentially achieve. Born, raised and living near the sea in Cork, with her husband and teenage son, she loves spending time writing, drinking coffee and absorbed in an unputdownable book.
